With this 269ccm cylinder kit, you can noticeably push many models with the Piaggio Quasar engine (250ccm LC) forward – turning your 250 into a powerful touring engine with significantly more power reserves.

The aluminum cylinder features a coated bore (similar to nickel-carbon-silicon). This makes it extremely durable and resistant. Malossi focuses here on precise workmanship and highest quality materials – performance and longevity are equally in focus.

Really practical: The kit can be run with the original cylinder head. However, if you want to get the maximum out of it, Malossi optionally offers a modified camshaft and a tuning cylinder head. This changes the compression and valve timing – and the full power of the cylinder reaches your engine. Not mandatory, but highly recommended if you are doing the conversion anyway.

In everyday use, this means: more pull, more reserves on hills, and enough pressure even with two people on board to, for example, put up a proper fight at the corner exit with your Vespa GTS 250 or Piaggio Beverly 250 – and likewise on many other Quasar 250 models.

Setup Tip: Tuning & "V4-Head"

In combination with the Malossi tuning cylinder head "V4-Head", you can expect approx. 20% more power according to the manufacturer. For this, the fuel injection system should be re-tuned. Ready-made maps optimized for the kit are available with a PM module. Upon request, we would be happy to put this together for you as a kit – just note that the delivery time of the module may take a few days.
