Malossi HTQ Primary Gearbox z=17/39 – longer translation for your Honda Bali 50

If you install, for example, a tuning cylinder or modify the engine on your Honda Bali 50, noticeably more power is added – and this needs to be converted into more top speed. This is exactly where the original final drive ratio often holds you back: it is designed so that the stock engine can pull it without problems. With more HP, the typical problem quickly occurs: at higher speeds, the engine "screams," the RPM increases sharply, but the top speed hardly increases.

With the Malossi HTQ gearbox (primary) z=17/39, you bring the final RPMs back to a tolerable level and can simultaneously significantly increase the top speed. The gears and intermediate shafts are not only first-class in workmanship, but are also made specifically for this application.

And don't worry about the usual myths: a longer translation does not automatically mean that your scooter has worse acceleration. In many cases, slightly harder clutch springs are sufficient to compensate for this. On the contrary: if the gearbox is too short for the available horsepower, you even waste valuable power – because the engine could actually pull more.
