The Pinasco Flytech is among the best ignitions on the market, which are available for the Vespa engines!

The rotor (fan wheel) is equipped with an Elestart starter gear rim. The weight of the pole wheel was not chosen too lightly at this ignition, but due to the ingenious design (flywheel further out on the motorcycle), it has the same weight, in contrast to the other available on the market, a slower uplift! This is ideal for touring motors and, of course, also spares the bearings in the long run. The magnets are secured with a steel ring and can not fall out or be damaged!

The light machine ( 12 Volt ) delivers a power of 90 watts. Also ideal for older vehicles with 6V system for retrofitting!

The fan rim is made of nylon, the geometry is specially adapted to allow an even better cooling. Pinasco provides up to 20% higher airflow! If your Vespa has not already installed a brake light switch with a normally open function, it is included in the delivery. The voltage regulator supplies 12V as well as alternating current. Battery charging is optional.

The greatest advantage of the ignition system lies in the fixed, programmed ignition curve!

The ignition timing of Vespa is fixed and is correctly set to a fixed value by twisting the anchor plate (and subsequent flashing). Depending on the engine set-up (low control angle, torque bomber or speed monster), an engine naturally needs different ignition angles. Ignite the engine always before the TDC (top dead center of the piston), so that the mixture can burn completely and the force introduction does not come too early. At higher speeds, a later ignition is required to thermally relieve the cylinder.

But straight from the speed room (Tourensetups) one can release with a lot of pre-ignition still a lot of torque . In the case, however, it would be important not to run at higher speeds with these values ​​(over 20 degrees of pre-ignition)! And then the variable ignition comes into play.

The engine gets a lot of ignition at the bottom and is therefore powerful at low speeds. As the engine speed increases and the ignition starts to diminish, the engine's torsion is encouraged and the engine is simultaneously relieved of thermal stress!
