With the Sport and Competition lines, BGM Pro offers two high-quality shock absorber series in its delivery program. What both have in common is perfect workmanship, high material quality and ABE approval. Despite their high load capacity, the dampers are very lightweight, as they are made of high-strength CNC aluminum and have outstanding hard anodized surface protection.
The front dampers are 15 mm shorter than standard struts and therefore lower the front of the vehicle. This benefits both driving stability, top speed and, last but not least, appearance. In addition, the swing angle is reduced, which improves the response behavior of the damper. The resulting higher lag stabilizes driving behavior at higher speeds.

BGM PRO SC Competition
racing chassis based on gas pressure with superb everyday qualities. Fully adjustable in spring preload (stepless) and rebound (12/16-fold).
With a separate reservoir for the gas reservoir, making it extremely thermally stable, even in tough racing conditions. The adjustment range ranges from comfortable to very tight and can therefore be adapted to every driver and type of ride.

BGM PRO SC Sport
Based on the competition chassis, but without a separate expansion tank and a fixed damping rate. Ideal for everyday sporting use, even with powerful motors.
Very harmonious basic coordination with an optimal balance between sportiness and suitability for everyday use. Compared to the competition chassis, its height is infinitely adjustable. This allows the vehicle to be adjusted in height on both axles. In this way, the front can be lowered or the rear raised without having to change the pre-load, which is so important for the negative spring travel. The front shock absorber can be continuously adjusted between 240 mm and 220 mm in height.

Note: Vespa PX models built around 2000 require a spacer of at least 48 mm in length at the top of the rear shock absorber (see accessories). From 2000 onwards, Piaggio uses longer struts that are mounted without a spacer. In order to get back to the correct total length, a spacer (as originally installed from the factory on the older models) is required. Otherwise, the rear is too low by the amount of the missing spacer.
