BGM Pro offers two high-quality shock absorber series in its product range with the Sport and Competition lines. Both share perfect workmanship, high material quality, and approval via ABE. Despite their high load capacity, the dampers are very light, as they are CNC machined from high-strength aluminum and feature superior surface protection from hard anodizing.
The front dampers are 15mm shorter than standard shock absorbers and thus lower the front of the vehicle. This benefits driving stability, top speed, and not least the aesthetics. Additionally, the swingarm angle is reduced, which improves the response behavior of the damper. The resulting larger trail stabilizes the driving behavior at higher speeds.

BGM PRO SC Competition
Racing chassis based on gas pressure with superb everyday qualities. Fully adjustable in spring preload (continuously) and rebound damping (12/16-way).
With a separate expansion chamber for the gas reservoir, making it extremely thermally stable, even in hard racing use. The adjustment range extends from comfortable to very firm and is thus adaptable to every rider and driving style.

BGM PRO SC Sport
Based on the Competition chassis, however without a separate expansion chamber and with a fixed damping rate. Ideal for sporty everyday use, even with powerful engines.
Very harmonious basic tuning with an optimal balance between sportiness and everyday usability. Compared to the Competition chassis, it is continuously adjustable in height. This allows the vehicle height to be adjusted on both axles. Thus, the front can be lowered or the rear raised without having to change the spring preload (pre-load), which is so important for the negative spring travel. The front shock absorber can be continuously adjusted between 240mm and 220mm height.

Note: Vespa PX models from approx. year 2000 require a spacer of at least 48mm length at the top of the rear shock absorber (see accessories). Piaggio uses longer shock absorbers from year 2000 that are mounted without a spacer. To return to the correct total length, a spacer (as originally installed at the factory on older models) is required. Otherwise, the rear is too low by the amount of the missing spacer.
