Stage6 is dedicated to the development of high-performance tuning parts and is constantly tackling new challenges, and so they are now also bringing cylinders for geared mopeds to the market. Here for Minarelli AM6: Cylinder Kit Stage6 BigRacing 88cc. The cylinder kit contains:

• 88cc cylinder, 50mm bore, aluminum, 45mm stroke for 90mm connecting rod, with 5 transfer ports and split exhaust port with center strut
• Vertex 1-ring piston, D. 50mm
• High-compression cylinder head, one-piece, aluminum
• Gasket set (base and head gaskets)

The cylinder was developed in close collaboration with the professionals from MXS Racing. On the one hand, it was possible to optimally benefit from their experience in the geared mopeds sector, and on the other hand, to use our own technical know-how, and so the Stage6 engineers succeeded in developing a truly successful and novel tuning cylinder. In terms of optics, the BigRacing comes across as rather unassuming, but appearances can be deceptive. The cylinder is an original "Big Bore" cylinder, i.e. it is not based on a standard cylinder that has simply been re-sleeved, but was designed as a genuine Big Bore kit with matching transfer ports and a large exhaust port supporting the increased performance of the cylinder. The BigRacing cylinders convince with easy assembly, top performance and high reliability. - The installation is extremely easy to accomplish, especially no machining work on the engine block has to be carried out. The squish edge is preset to an optimized value for the respective engine type. - In terms of performance, the BigRacing convinces across the board: on our P4 test bench we measured a full 25.2 PS and 15.4 Nm (a standard setup was used (24mm carburetor, original ignition, racing exhaust, etc.)) - The timing of the cylinder is relatively low, the cooling volume is quite large and the piston is of extremely high quality (Vertex) - all factors which make the cylinder very reliable and robust, provided that the setup and settings are correct. Displacement is 88ccm (50mm piston with 45mm stroke for 90mm connecting rod), i.e. without road approval. You absolutely must use a long-stroke crankshaft. From the outside, the cylinder is a replica of the original cylinder with a stamped 49ccm mark, don't be afraid, but it is clearly an 88ccm cylinder.
