Malossi Piston Ø 68.5 mm (B) for 210 ccm Sport/MHR Cylinder – lightweight, robust & perfectly tuned

This Malossi piston is the right choice for Malossi 210 cylinder kits (Sport and MHR) – including older ("Old") kits. Since the 2016 kits, these cylinders are delivered with a VERTEX piston with graphite coating. The graphite surface significantly reduces friction and can, in certain cases, provide a certain emergency running property if a seizure occurs.

Compared to the previous ASSO piston, the VERTEX piston is approximately 10% lighter. Additionally, the piston skirt is shorter – which is particularly practical if you are running a 60 mm long-stroke crankshaft: the piston no longer needs to be shortened in the lower area. Added to this are larger piston windows, which are much better adapted to the ports – ideal for clean, reliable performance on your Vespa PX 200, Vespa Rally 200 or, for example, the Vespa Cosa 200.

Important Note on Selection (Letter Identifier)

The pistons are specifically assigned to the cylinder kits via a letter (0, A, B …). Recommendation: always use, for example, an "A" piston with an "A" cylinder. You can find the matching letter on the cylinder base in the area of the sealing surface – Malossi has stamped it there.
