Malossi Aramid V-Belt – robust for tuned Piaggio/Gilera 50ccm setups

The Malossi V-belt with Aramid insert is designed for high loads and scores particularly with durability and tear resistance – exactly what you need for heavily tuned engines. Important to know: Due to the Aramid insert, slippage may occur, especially during acceleration, when the gear ratio is still small and accordingly much force acts on the rear torque converter.

For the belt to work cleanly, in practice, a harder contrast spring and tuning of the variator are almost indispensable. If your setup is correct, you get a very resilient belt – e.g., for Gilera DNA 50 and Piaggio Liberty 50 (and many other models).
