WEIGHT REDUCTION
The weight saving compared to an original PX steel rim is 600 grams. In addition, there is a weight saving of approx. 370 grams due to the hose that is no longer required. The unsprung masses are thus reduced by almost one kilogram per axle (over 64%). The responsiveness of the chassis is noticeably improved.

SAFETY
Thanks to a double so-called “hump” in the rim bed, the tire is always safely guided in the rim. Similar to the latest run-flat technology in the automotive sector, the air can slowly escape when a foreign object (nail, etc.) is retracted, without the tire slipping into the rim bed. The vehicle therefore comes to a standstill in a controlled manner. The rim has recesses between the mounting points. Brake cooling is improved.

SPECIAL FEATURES
The track offset is 2.5 millimeters on the left side. Installing the aluminum rims on both axles equalizes the track offset. This is not noticeable when driving.

The rim does not have a test mark and is not approved for use on roads.

For tubeless (TL) tires only. Do not install Tubetype (TT) tires.

Delivery includes six closed high cap nuts (chrome-plated, SW12) and a screwed metal valve (M8x1.25mm). Rim weight 900 grams.

NOTE: All 10 inch tubeless rims for Vespa and Lambretta do not comply with the ETRTO standard. The diameter in the middle of the rim is slightly too large due to the design, the tire cannot sit sufficiently far into the deep rim bed during installation. Assembly by hand (with mounting levers) is very complex, as the tire bulge is heavily under tension.
Tire installation should therefore only be carried out by a specialist with appropriate equipment (tire fitting machine).
