This LeoVince rear muffler has an embossed E-number and an "e-pass". Road approval in Germany and within the European Union exists exclusively if the muffler is mounted and operated unchanged according to the manufacturer's specifications.

The approval applies exclusively to the European market, especially for Germany. Use outside the European Union may be subject to differing national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince rear muffler is designed for particularly easy installation and manufactured in a proven SLIP-ON construction. The original muffler is first loosened. Depending on the version, the included connecting pipe is then inserted to optimally adapt the angle and alignment to the vehicle. Afterwards, the rear muffler is precisely inserted, fastened at the original mounting points and securely fixed with the included springs.

After exact alignment in the desired position, clamps and screws are tightened evenly. A short function test while stationary and re-tightening the connections after the first few kilometers ensure a permanently tight fit. The precise construction noticeably facilitates the conversion.
