This cylinder kit from MXT contains a grey cast iron cylinder with 70 ccm displacement as well as the matching cylinder head for horizontal, water-cooled two-stroke engines of the Minarelli LC type. Included in the scope of delivery are the cylinder, cylinder head with two coolant connections, aluminum piston (CNC-machined) with arrow marking for installation direction, piston ring, piston clips, piston pin, cylinder base gasket as well as coolant O-rings.

• Increasing the displacement to 70 ccm leads to the expiration of the operating permit for vehicles with 50 ccm approval - operation on public roads is no longer permitted in this case.

Assembly and Application Notes:

• Important Note: Increasing the displacement to 70 ccm leads to the expiration of the operating permit for vehicles with 50 ccm approval - check the legal situation for the planned intended use before assembly.
• The piston is marked with an arrow on the piston crown, which must point towards the exhaust side; if the stock carburetor is retained, the jetting must be increased by approx. 7-10% (guideline), a carburetor with 17.5 to 19 mm bore is recommended.
• After assembly, connect both coolant connections on the cylinder head, check the cooling system for leaks and replace all gaskets.

Note on inspection before purchase:

• Before purchase, check the engine type (Minarelli horizontal LC) and the planned intended use - operation on public roads with 50 ccm approved vehicles is no longer permitted after the displacement increase to 70 ccm.
