The Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch combines extreme durability, absolute reliability and ease of operation. It is the foundation of any solid engine tuning.
The massive, CNC-milled clutch basket features excellent concentricity and extremely high torsional stiffness. This provides perfect clutch engagement with a clearly defined slipping point and clean disengagement. It is suitable for touring riders who value high quality, as well as ambitious racers looking for an extremely durable and robust clutch.

ULTRALUBE
The latest generation Superstrong 2.0 CR clutches now feature an innovative new technology: Ultralube. Ultralube promotes (through precisely defined bores and centrifugal force) gearbox oil both into the highly stressed hub profile (between the clutch basket and clutch hub) and to the clutch pads themselves. This technology, unique in the Vespa sector, makes the legendary Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch even more durable than it already is. A clutch designed for eternity.

COMPATIBILITY / UPGRADE
The clutch basket offered here can be used as a high-quality upgrade for any Cosa2 clutch type. This has been used ex works by Piaggio in Cosa FL2 models since 1992. It was used in PX models from approx. 1996 to the latest production years.

MODIFICATIONS
Vehicles with less than 180ccm (ex works) require the clutch cover of the 200ccm models if the original clutch cover is not to be modified.
Vehicles before 1998 must be minimally modified for mounting the Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch (see documents under "Downloads").

PAD TYPE CR
The Superstrong 2.0 CR uses the pad type of the Honda CR80/VFR400.
These have a larger effective radius, less weight, wider tabs and a very durable pad material. The advantages are a lighter clutch that disengages faster but is still extremely durable. If this basket is to be used as a replacement for a standard clutch basket, please also order the matching CR clutch pads at the same time.
