The SKF deep groove ball bearing 6204.C3 is an open deep groove ball bearing with increased radial bearing clearance (C3) and a steel cage for use as a crankshaft bearing in various 50ccm two-stroke engines. The C3 bearing clearance is increased compared to the standard CN bearing clearance and is designed for installation positions where thermal expansion or fit oversize require a larger bearing clearance - typical for crankshaft bearings in air-cooled 2-stroke engines.

Assembly and application notes:

• The bearing must be inserted flush and securely into the crankcase seat using a suitable press tool. Impact force must be applied exclusively to the outer ring - no impact on the inner ring, in order not to damage the raceway. Since this is an open bearing without a seal, care must be taken to ensure clean installation conditions.
