Malossi Multivar 2000 Variator – more bite when starting, cleaner gear ratio

The Malossi Multivar 2000 has long since become the market leader among variators in the maxiscooter sector. It is available for almost every model and is one of the best tuning variator solutions – at the same time, it is also perfectly suited as a precisely fitting spare part if your original variator is defective.

As the centerpiece of the scooter drive, the variator significantly determines how your scooter starts, how quickly it reaches the "correct" RPM range, and how effectively the gear ratio works. The Multivar differs from the stock variator through optimized roller tracks and a modified slope. This noticeably reduces the starting weakness known especially in larger engines: the acceleration RPM is reached significantly faster and, in some cases, even slightly increased. Due to the better adjustment range, the top speed may also increase slightly.

Especially on a Yamaha XC 125 Cygnus X or a Yamaha BWS 125, the Malossi Multivar 2000 plays to its strengths because the gear ratio simply works more efficiently. It is also a popular choice for the Yamaha Zuma 125 if you want a more direct response.
