Description
The reinforced clutch set from Swiing is specially designed for Puch Z50 engines with manual transmission. This set is ideal for models such as the Puch X30 Sport NS/NL and the Puch X30 Velux. It contains a high-quality pull pin with a specially manufactured angular ball bearing, which offers a contact angle of 60° and is designed for the highest loads. The tie pin is crucial for using the reinforced Swiing clutch springs.
Important information about coupling adjustment: In Figure 3, the clutch lever should be shown in the optimal position with respect to the abutment and the ball collar nut on the uncoupling shaft. This setting enables maximum release distance with minimal effort. Pay particular attention to the gap between the clutch shaft and the conical collar nut, as too little play can quickly damage the clutch bearing. When the coupling cable is suspended, the empty space on the coupling lever should be approximately 3 mm. The angle 'A' in the image is 58°, which results in an empty space of approx. 1 cm on the hand lever.
