This LeoVince rear silencer has an embossed E-number and an “e-pass”. Road approval in Germany and within the European Union exists exclusively if the silencer is mounted and operated unchanged according to the manufacturer's specifications.

The approval applies exclusively to the European market, especially for Germany. Use outside the European Union may be subject to different national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince rear silencer is designed for particularly easy installation and manufactured in the proven SLIP-ON construction. The original silencer is first loosened. Depending on the version, the supplied connecting pipe is then inserted to optimally adjust the angle and alignment to the vehicle. Afterwards, the rear silencer is plugged in precisely, fastened to the original mounting points and secured with the included springs.

After exact alignment in the desired position, clamps and screws are tightened evenly. A short function test while stationary and retightening the connections after the first few kilometers ensure a permanently firm seat. The precise construction noticeably simplifies the conversion.
