Description

Crankshaft oil seal for all 50cc 2-stroke Piaggio engines.

Our oil seals are high-quality KOK oil seals, which are standard equipment in many manufacturers.

Oil seals should always be checked. Like any other seal, they are subject to normal wear and no longer seal perfectly after a certain mileage. Their moving sealing lips, which sit directly on the crankshaft, seal the crankcase. A hardened or defective oil seal can lead to slight leaks at this point and the engine draws in false air.

Consequence: The fuel/air mixture becomes lean, combustion becomes too hot, and in the worst case, there is a risk of engine damage in the long run. Initially, poor starting behavior and hard-to-adjust carburetors indicate a leaky oil seal.

If a smeared oil film is visible around the crankshaft oil seal, this also indicates leaks.

Replacement oil seals should therefore not be missing in any workshop.

  • Installation position: Small side on the generator side (on the direction of travel to the right)
