Malossi MHR MK2 Cylinder Kit 221ccm – High-End Power for your Largeframe Vespa

With the Malossi MHR MK2 cylinder kit, you get an uncompromising performance upgrade for your Vespa. The displacement is 221ccm (bore 68,5mm) and the kit is specifically designed for Largeframe models such as Vespa PX 200, Vespa P200E and Vespa Cosa 200. Malossi sets real standards here in the area of over 200ccm Vespa cylinders: strong durability, very clean workmanship, and a setup designed for impressive performance.

The cylinder consists of coated aluminum and is delivered with a VERTEX graphite piston, including 1 chromed trapezoidal piston ring. Further highlights are the bolted exhaust flange, eyelets on the flange for exhaust springs, larger port windows as well as three rear boost port channels, which further support the performance.

Important for assembly: You need a crankshaft with 60mm stroke – ideally from the race segment. According to Malossi, work on the crankcase in the area of the transfer ports is possible, but not absolutely necessary. For a balanced high-end setup, a carburetor from 30mm is recommended (including a look at the flow at the fuel tap). Regarding the exhaust system, you should also rely on high-end models to fully exploit the potential of the kit.
