Malossi Contrast Spring (green) for Yamaha T-Max – tuned for the variator converter

This Malossi contrast spring (green) is developed for the converter of the Yamaha T-Max Maxi-Scooter. It is exactly right when conventional springs do not provide the setup you are looking for – especially if you have already modified your Yamaha T-Max 500 or Yamaha T-Max 530.

If engine power is increased through tuning measures, the drive should be tuned accordingly: with a stronger contrast spring, more pressure on the V-belt can be built up, so that the additional power reaches the road as loss-free as possible. Especially with a Yamaha T-Max, a clean tuning of the converter is an important building block for a smooth driving feel.

Important: Malossi does not provide a percentage change compared to the OEM contrast spring for Maxi-Scooters. Instead, spring rate (K) and spring length are specified – allowing you to at least compare the springs meaningfully with one another.
