bgm PRO rear main shaft for all Lambrettas in the Li family: S1 + S2 + TV2 + TV3 + Special + SX + GP + Serveta
countershaft in the best quality perfect for 4 and 5-speed transmissions.
The main shaft is a central safety component; it provides the connection between the engine and the rear wheel. Original Innocenti main waves are more than 50 years old and no one can be sure what has happened to the main wave in this period of time. Especially when improperly assembled with too high torque, the main shaft can shear off at the transition of the thread to the main shaft. An enormous risk, which is avoided with a new main wave of good quality.
For the new rear brake drums with a cone of 8°, the required tightening torque is 147-161 Nm. To do this, tighten to a lower value of 147 Nm with a torque wrench and then check whether the locking plate for the rear wheel nut can be installed. If this is not the case, gradually increase the tightening torque until one of the holes in the brake drum aligns with the hole in the locking plate. Insert the hexagonal screw on the locking plate with medium-strength screw lock and tighten with a tightening torque of 14 - 14.7 Nm.
