BGM PRO CDI for IDM retrofit ignitions

-Original optics combined with an optimised ignition curve for touring engines-

THE PROBLEM WITH ORIGINAL IDM CDI ON TOURING ENGINES
All IDM-based ignitions (Vespatronic, Malossi VesPower, Polini IDM, Varitronic, Pinasco Flytech, Parmakit, etc.) use the same CDI. Their ignition curve is designed for high-performance engines with late use of power and high speeds.
On touring engines with early and high torque, this ignition curve is rather counterproductive. It often leads to engine jerks in partial load mode due to early ignition, for the low speed. However, due to the large adjustment range (8°) of the original CDI, the ignition time must be selected early. Otherwise, performance in the upper engine speed range will suffer, as the CDI significantly reduces the ignition timing here.

BENEFITS OF BGM PRO CDI ON TOURING ENGINES
The BGM PRO CDI has a fixed ignition timing. It offers ideal working conditions for motors that have a similar power/torque curve to an original motor. There is no need to adjust the ignition timing, the engine runs smoother and smoother and also develops more power, especially in the area above peak power (overrev). As a result, you have an engine that is much more tour-friendly and is usually even faster on the move.

OTHER ADVANTAGES OF THE BGM PRO CDI
Compared to an original IDM CDI, the ignition cable can also be screwed in. Ideal if the CDI is to be positioned differently or if the ignition cable is simply to be replaced.
