ROLLER BEARING MATERIAL CRANKSHAFT
The roller bearing type used for the crankshaft has a reinforced but lightweight and friction-optimized ETN9 polyamide cage. The rotating mass of the ETN9 bearings is, compared to the MA versions (with soldered brass cages), 18gr. per bearing less. Therefore, the ETN9 bearings can easily follow fast speed changes, as they often occur in two-stroke engines. Due to the good sliding properties of the polyamide 66 cage, it glides better and heats up less. It therefore has a longer service life than roller bearing types with steel/brass cages. For these reasons and from our own experience, we recommend the ETN9 type.

SEALS
The set includes the best available seals from Corteco made of FKM material.
The FKM material is extremely resistant to heat, friction, and gasoline/ethanol (It can therefore also be used without problems in engines that are operated with E10).
No swelling or softening. Therefore ideal for high-end motors with high temperature loads and high speeds.

Do not heat up crankshaft bearings to more than 120°C during installation
