Yuasa has developed a more complex, easier to start, leak-proof and maintenance-free battery. Many motorcycle and scooter drivers are benefiting from this new era in battery technology.

YTZ batteries contain more power, discharge more slowly and have a longer life span than conventional batteries. The best part is the design and construction, which are designed to be leak-proof to prevent damage.

In various tests required by the I.A.T.A. (International Air Transport Association), the YTZ battery was tested under vibration and pressure for leak-proof properties.

Important information!

Vehicle batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return old batteries so that proper disposal can be guaranteed. You can drop off old batteries at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. When selling vehicle batteries, the following special features apply: In accordance with § 10 BattG, the seller is obliged to charge end users a deposit of 7.50 EUR including sales tax if, at the time of purchase of the new starter battery, the end user does not return a used vehicle battery to the seller or a signed/stamped proof of disposal (not older than two weeks) is presented. {X} No deposit stamp will be issued! When returning the old starter battery to Heavy - Tuned GmbH, which we have as a new battery in our product range, we are required by law to take it back free of charge and refund the deposit amount. The location of the battery return is: Heavy - Tuned GmbH, Seilschlagstr. 6 in 31311 Uetze/Hänigsen. Sending old batteries by post is NOT permitted due to the Dangerous Goods Ordinance. You are welcome to drop off your old battery free of charge at many recycling centers. If you present a proof of disposal (electronic or written and not older than two weeks), we will also refund the deposit.

Meaning of battery icons

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be thrown away with household waste. In batteries that contain more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury, more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium or more than 0.004 mass percent lead, there is the chemical name of the pollutant used in each case under the garbage can symbol - “Cd” stands for cadmium, “Pb” stands for lead, and “Hg” for mercury.
