Description

The key for the alternator rotor secures the rotor to the crankshaft. The rotor triggers a spark pulse at the inductive sensor after each revolution, thereby determining the ignition timing.

The Top Performances Lima key is specially ground, allowing for an ignition advance in the direction of earlier ignition timing. The slightly earlier spark provides an optimally timed and performance-oriented combustion at higher speeds. This small but fine component therefore still makes a lot of performance potential available with an original serial ignition system. The key is also beneficial for derestricted serial vehicles. Brilliant idea for a very small amount of money.

Caution, do not install backwards! Otherwise the opposite will happen.

ZZP= Ignition timing advance with this key 3 degrees towards earlier ignition timing.
