Description

The history of the Italian company RMS dates back to 1945, and it has consistently produced high-quality spare parts and accessories for scooters ever since.

Variator weights are subject to constant wear during operation. As the engine speed increases, the centrifugal force causes the weights to slide outwards in the variator track, shifting the variator and thus changing the transmission ratio. Since the contact surface of the weights is quite small, they develop flattening after a few thousand kilometers and must be replaced, otherwise poor shifting performance and eventual seizure within the variator will occur.

RMS variator weights are made from a highly wear-resistant material and are characterized by their very good accuracy in terms of dimensions and weight. Durability and good sliding properties at a fair price!
