Good quality doesn't always have to be incredibly expensive. The new Street series from MXT offers performance and spare parts in one.

With the Streetrace, we can present a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that is unparalleled in its price range. Optimized tracks for the variator weights and an improved ramp angle change the shifting behaviour nicely linearly and, with good tuning, enable better starting behaviour and slightly increased acceleration.

The Streetrace variator is also ideal for use if the original CVT is worn. Over the course of many thousands of kilometres, the original variator will eventually wear into its bearing sleeve. Due to the resulting drive belt abrasion, this "rubber debris" often gets stuck on the sleeves, and the CVT no longer shifts smoothly. Loss of acceleration and reductions in top speed are often the consequences. Cleaning usually only helps for a few kilometres before the engine performance deteriorates again.

As a small "all-inclusive package", the Streetrace variator is additionally supplied with tuning parts.

Included in the scope of delivery you will receive:

• Three sets of variator rollers 19 x 15.5mm in three different weight classes:
  • 3x 6g
  • 3x 7g
  • 3x 8g
• Clutch springs for slightly increased initial acceleration speed, better acceleration from the start

The sets of roller weights are deliberately limited to three rollers per weight set, as the included rollers are often used for testing during tuning and may be replaced with others depending on the components installed in the vehicle. Here, the rollers can be optimally mixed for testing purposes, but it should always be noted that you always install 3 & 3 of the same weight class. These are always inserted alternately and should not have too large deviations in weight (e.g. mixing 5 & 7 grams or 7 & 9 grams, but not mixing 5 & 9 grams.).
