Selection / Comparison Notes (Maxi-Scooters)

Unfortunately, Malossi does not specify for maxi-scooters how much the pressure changes compared to the OEM contrast spring. Instead, spring rate (K) and spring length are given – this allows you to at least compare the springs with each other. Generally, for large scooters:

• Green contrast springs are softer than the OEM spring
• All other springs are harder than the OEM spring
• The higher the (K) value, the harder the spring
• With the same (K) value, the longer spring is harder
