Description

The fork of your scooter is mounted for rotation with the steering head bearings (also called headset). Excessive play due to wear or bearings that are too loose will result in a poor and very spongy ride. Checking the play of the front bearing is also part of every TÜV inspection of large maxi-scooters!
Apply sufficient grease when installing the bearings! Observe the torque specifications of the manufacturer, check for smooth running after inserting the fork!
