Description

The history of the Italian company RMS dates back to 1945, and it has consistently produced first-class spare parts and accessories for scooters.

The fork of your scooter is mounted for rotary motion with the steering head bearings (also known as headstocks). Excessive play due to wear or loosely adjusted bearings leads to poor and very spongy handling. Checking the play of the front bearing is also part of every technical inspection (TÜV) for large maxi-scooters!

Apply sufficient grease when installing the bearings! Observe the manufacturer's torque specifications, and check for smooth running after inserting the fork!
