Description

The history of the Italian company RMS dates back to 1945, and it has been producing top-quality spare parts and accessories for scooters ever since.

The fork of your scooter is mounted for rotational movement with the steering head bearings (also known as headset bearings). Excessive play due to wear or bearings that are too loose will result in poor and very spongy handling. Checking the play of the front bearings is also part of the MOT test for larger Maxi-Scooters!

Apply sufficient grease when installing the bearings! Observe the manufacturers' torque specifications, and check for smooth running after inserting the fork!
