Description

The history of the Italian company RMS dates back to 1945, and it has consistently produced top-quality spare parts and accessories for scooters.

The fork of your scooter is mounted for rotary movement with the steering head bearings (also called headset bearings). Excessive play due to wear or loosely adjusted bearings leads to poor and very spongy handling. Checking the play of the front bearings is also part of the mandatory inspection (TÜV) for large maxi-scooters!

Apply sufficient grease when installing the bearings! Observe the manufacturer's torque specifications, and check for smooth running after inserting the fork!
