Description
The Italian traditional company Buzzetti offers a huge range of high quality spare parts and accessories for two-wheelers. The remarkably large equipment line on useful and very ingenious tools as well as workshop equipment is very interesting for every screwdriver! Some tools are simply indispensable.
When changing to a new suspension fork, the steering head bearings should also be replaced. In every set of a new steering head bearing there are always new bearing shells. The shells are inserted or slightly pressed into the provided seat on the frame. Since the balls run directly on them, one should ensure that they are absolutely free of rust and pitting.
The dismounting of the bearing shell is difficult because the control tube of the frame is quite long. With the Buzzetti special tool, however, it is easy to disassemble. Due to the almost infinitely variable adjustment of the open ends, the tool for control rods with an internal diameter of 30-68mm fits perfectly at the edge of the bearing shell. They can then be thrown out easily with light hammer hammers.
