Description

The steel rim of the Vespa was specifically designed so that a tire can be changed on the go with minimal tool usage. The rim is split into two parts, and the tire is run with a tube. The advantage of the construction was that the Vespa has the same rim at the front and rear, and the carried spare wheel can therefore be used for both under the left side cover.

Rust in the bed of the split rims can occur after many years, but can damage the tube due to the rough surface. The rim should then be replaced when changing the tire!

The size of the rim is given in inches. The width of the rim is just as important as the height. This is also always given in inches (Example: 3.50).

RMS steel rims are available in various colors, they have a very high quality, no sharp edges and are high quality painted.
