Description
Your vehicle needs to be throttled, but you lost the spacer ring? We offer choke rings in different widths for almost all models!
Often, the variomatic drive is limited by a spacer ring in the gear ratio to comply with the legally established maximum speed.
The throttle ring is pushed over the bushing of the variator and prevents it from moving completely towards the front pulley and thus switching the drive to its highest possible transmission. This simply limits the maximum speed.
Attention: First and foremost use only for throttling original engines. With an open engine the power is not reduced but only the ratio is limited, the engine would reach very high speeds in the end!
Depending on the year of manufacture and 45 km/h or 50 km/h version, different width throttle rings were installed by the manufacturers. Either inform beforehand or adjust the speed with different widths.
