Description
To compensate for the 5mm longer connecting rod of the 55mm long-stroke crankshafts for Piaggio / Gilera Maxi two-stroke engines, a spacer is essential.
This cylinder base spacer is made of very high-quality material and fits all 125 - 150 - 180 ccm Piaggio two-stroke engines, whether AC or LC.
Since the engine casings are not always 100% identical by default around the ports, minor adjustments to the spacer may be necessary.
However, these can be carried out very easily due to the aluminum construction. Certainly not necessary, but anyone undertaking the effort of using a long-stroke crankshaft and possibly further modifications to their engine will be aware of this point.
- Thickness = 5mm
- Extreme precision fit. Water jet cut.
Attention: This spacer only compensates for the longer connecting rod, not the increased stroke of a long-stroke crankshaft.
We also carry the spacers in a 6mm thickness. Ideal for compensating for the increased stroke.
