Description

The silencers in the retaining eyes of the shock absorber and swingarm mountings are responsible for the storage of the engine block and of course also for a good driving behavior. Vibrations from the engine, which are transferred to the frame, are dampened by the rubber. After many tens of thousands of kilometers, or even by age, the rubbers explode, become brittle, tear. The engine now hangs only softly the the retaining eye and in sharply driven curves one clearly notice the sponginess. Then it is high time for new Silentgummis!
