Description

In the Vespa engine, the shift rod connects the gearshift lever with the gear shift lever installed in the drive shaft! By turning the handlebar grip, we select the desired gear. The switch is adjusted by means of a cable pull, then the switch is positioned in the corresponding gear gear by means of the shift rod!

In order for everything to function optimally and not hooked, a correct adjustment of the cable pulls must always be ensured.


Always ensure that the switch is properly secured on the switch rod! Left-hand thread! Replace worn parts directly with engine revision, top up fresh gear oil.

PX old version! Note: The Lusso PX models are included in the model list, because the first Lusso engines were partly fitted with old gearbox parts. Rare, but not impossible! Therefore after the dissection look what was installed, if one is not quite sure.
