Gasket paper set (6-piece) 

For the renewal/restoration of all paper gaskets. Six different gasket thicknesses enable repairs on many different surfaces. Ideal also for replacing gaskets that are no longer available.

The gasket kit consists of the following materials:

Abil®N is based on NBR-bonded cellulose fibers. The gasket material is primarily used for sealing against hot and cold oils, greases, fuels, and coolant with corrosion and frost protection additives. Temperature resistant up to a maximum of 120 °C. Short-term 150°C. Maximum pressure at 10 bar.

Novapress® UNIVERSAL is among the most mechanically robust fiber gaskets and possesses exceptionally high chemical resistance. It can be used extremely versatilely as an all-round material and proves to be durable and reliable even in the temperature limit range.

AFM 22 consists of a spiked and galvanized sheet steel carrier, onto which a soft material mass is rolled on both sides, containing inorganic fillers as well as high-quality elastomers as binders in addition to aramid fibers. AFM 22 possesses very good mechanical strength, very high temperature resistance and pressure resistance, and nevertheless adapts well to the sealing surface. The material is resistant to oils, fuels, and mixtures of water with frost and corrosion protection agents. The maximum operating temperature is 400°C.

Each 6-piece set contains one sheet of gasket paper in the size 300 x 210 mm:

1x Abil® N (0.25 mm thickness)
1x Abil® N (0.50 mm thickness)
1x Abil® N (0.75 mm thickness)
1x Abil® N (1.00 mm thickness)
1x Novapress UNIVERSAL (0.75 mm thickness)
1x AFM 22 (1.20 mm thickness)

By using a permanently plastic universal sealant in the form of a gel-like paste, such as with HYLOMAR or Curil T, you will generally achieve the best results.
