Starter one-way clutch for Aprilia, Derbi, Gilera, Piaggio 100, 125, 150 2T vehicles.
The starter one-way clutch forms the connection between the starter motor and the crankshaft. The one-way clutch secures the components when the engine begins to run and the engine speed exceeds the starter speed. Rattling and clicking noises during starting can indicate a defect in the one-way clutch. Inaction can lead to complete failure of the engine casing.
