Stopping points in the steering system are a significant safety risk. Precise steering is required when the road is wet at the latest. Floating behavior almost always indicates faulty steering bearings. Only the complete replacement of bearing shells and bearings can help.
The lower OEM steering bearing set is delivered with a bearing shell and the required bearing.
Lubricate the bearings before installation!
