Description

Schmitt Premium cable cables are manufactured true to the original in Austria: an absolutely perfect fit and handmade to the highest quality. Fast mechanical manufacturing processes to save costs are deliberately not used here.

The inner cables are made of special cable steel (and not of the more brittle stainless steel most commonly used today). This is why Schmitt Premium cables do not break as quickly as mass-produced cables.

Schmitt cables for classic vehicles are manufactured in the same design as was standard at the time the vehicles were manufactured. This means that fans of classic vehicles will always use a true-to-original cable. Since an old-fashioned inner cable is more likely to rust, an Interflon high-performance fluid grease is lubricated for a lifetime.
