Description
The Schmitt intake manifold is a high-quality carburettor flange that was specially developed for Simson mopeds. Made in Germany, this adapter allows you to mount modern PHBL carburettors with a 28mm clamp flange on Simson models with M531, M541 or M571 engines. Compatible models include S50, S51, S53, S70, SR50, SR80, KR50/1, KR50/2, Swallow, Sparrowhawk, Hawk, and Star. Made on the latest 5-axis CNC milling machines, the suction port offers a perfect surface finish. The connection between the carburettor and intake manifold is tailor-made and barrier-free, which ensures an optimal gas exchange. The milled Venturi cone accelerates the gasoline-air mixture, which leads to an increase in performance. The flange is optimised so that the transition to the air filter heart box is linear, without the usual kinks. The package includes two DIN 6912 hexagon socket screws and a matching silicone O-ring, which can be replaced by a standard flange seal if required.
