Description
Schmitt crankshaft “rotary friend” fits Simson moped and Simson scooter with M541, M741 engine such as Simson S51, S53, S70, S83, SR50, SR80, KR51/2 swallow.
It is a high-quality reinforced, balanced crankshaft. This precisely manufactured crankshaft with 44mm stroke and 85mm connecting rod is suitable for both serial and high-turning tuning engines. Due to its geometry, the Schmitt crankshaft is significantly stiffer than a standard crankshaft. The noticeably smooth and rotating Schmitt crankshaft comes with light, polished connecting rods, large thrust washers at the lower connecting rod bearing and reinforced piston pin bearing. The connecting rod is guided via the lower connecting rod bearing with copper thrust washers.
With this crankshaft, special attention is paid to the accuracy of the ignition cone in the original ratio of 1:5. This means that inaccuracies in the assembly of modern flywheel masses are no longer an issue. Runout deviation and position fit meet the latest measurement and manufacturing standards as well.
