Description

The Schmitt cylinder head blank is specially designed for Simson models such as S51, S53, SR50 and the Schwalbe KR51/2. This blank offers experienced tuners the opportunity to design an individual combustion chamber shape using suitable tools such as a lathe or milling machine. The spark plug thread is already available, which makes it easier to pick up the tool. The mold also allows conversion to a two-piece system with a separate combustion chamber dome.

Compared to other replica cylinder heads on the market, this head is manufactured using the die-cast aluminum process, as was usual in GDR times. The thermal properties are improved due to the larger design and the reinforced cooling fins. Visually, the difference remains minimal, so that the original look is largely retained.

The surface finish is almost perfect, which is due to the special manufacturing process. Note that this cylinder head can only be installed after adjustment and is not a plug and play product.
