Description
The Schmitt cylinder head is specially designed for tuning cylinders with a displacement of 60cc and a bore of 41mm. It is compatible with Simson models such as the S51, S53, SR50 and the Schwalbe KR51/2. This cylinder head is a tuning part that enables an increase in performance. In contrast to other replica cylinder heads on the market, this head is manufactured using a die-cast aluminum process, similar to the GDR era. To improve thermal properties, the head is slightly larger and has significantly stronger cooling fins. Despite these improvements, the original look is largely retained, as the difference in size is barely visible. The surface finish is almost perfect thanks to the special manufacturing process.
