Description

The Schmitt cylinder kit with a diameter of 38 mm and a stroke of 44 mm has been specially developed for mokicks and mopeds with Sachs 504 and 505 engines. It fits perfectly with models such as Hercules Prima, M, Sachs 504/505, KTM Pony, and Hobby. The cylinder was redesigned from the ground up to preserve the original look without being a copy of a copy. Schmitt attaches great importance to quality and modern manufacturing techniques, which are implemented in a classic look.

The control times as well as the channel and combustion chamber geometry are 100% true to the original, which means that the engine output corresponds to the original part. The cylinder is die-cast, which gives it an excellent surface finish. A precisely manufactured 3mm cast iron bushing ensures durability and enables multiple revisions, which significantly extends the product life. The original splash-proof decorative connection with O-ring seal is also included.

The flask is made of an aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content and offers maximum mileage and excellent emergency running properties. Two piston rings of different thicknesses, as in the original, further improve performance. During the running-in phase, the printed molybdenum disulphide coating supports the sliding properties of the new flask.
