The RFX Sport plastic throttle tube in White is a cost-effective replacement part for Off-Road Bikes. These throttle bodies are made of a coated nylon fabric, which ensures smooth operation. They are an exact replica of the OEM part and offer the same cam profiling for precise throttle control. Unlike aluminum tubes, they do not deform the rods and are open in design to allow for the use of aluminum hand guard devices.
Installation is simple and requires only a few steps. First, push the rubber sleeve down and remove the throttle body housing. Remove the old throttle tube without damaging the throttle cables. If necessary, carefully remove the grip from the old tube. Check cables and housing for damage, clean and grease or replace as needed. Clean and inspect handlebar for damage. Slide the new throttle tube onto the handlebar and lubricate with a suitable lubricant. Reinstall the throttle cable and housing and tighten the throttle body housing in the correct position. Adjust the cable accordingly and test functionality. Finally, mount the grip and let the adhesive dry.
