Description

The RFX Pro Series oil filter covers are made of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminum, which provides increased dimensional stability even under high temperatures and pressure. These covers are specifically designed to improve oil circulation, which contributes to more efficient engine performance. RFX products are tested and used by leading Grand Prix and British motocross teams.

The cover is lightweight and has a hollow design that reduces overall weight without sacrificing functionality. It is anodized in color, which not only provides an attractive appearance, but also provides additional protection. The cover is compatible with OEM O-rings, making installation easy.

Assembly instructions:

  • Drain the oil in accordance with the user manual.
  • Remove the old filter cover carefully so as not to damage the sealing surface on the crankcase.
  • Remove and clean the O-ring and attach it to the new filter cover.
  • If the oil filter is replaced, remove and discard it and all springs.
  • Clean the filter opening and check for damage.
  • Soak the new oil filter in fresh engine oil.
  • Install a new oil filter, original spring, and new filter cover.
  • Top up the oil in accordance with the user manual.
