Description
The highlight among the racing air filters is the Venturi air system from Doppler. The advantage of this filter is, as the name suggests, the use of the Venturi principle. Venturi means a cross section of the intake tract which results in a lower negative pressure necessary to suck in the air. You can try it yourself with a straw. If the straw is several centimeters thick, you will have difficulty absorbing liquid, it is only half a millimeter thick, it faces the same problem. So too small and too large intake cross sections require high sub-pressures to draw in air, but these are not very large with 70cc engines. The Doppler Venturi-Air system sucks the air into a resonance chamber via a venturi insert. A second insert is included in the kit and should also be used with 19-21mm carburetors. The resonance chamber offers the advantage that the gas vibration and the intake noise are soothed, the carburettor runs more evenly and can be tuned better. So optical gimmik you can also buy the air filter and grill in different colors. The box fits all Dellorto and Arreche carburetors from 12-21mm.
