This LeoVince muffler has an embossed E-number and an "e-pass." Road approval in Germany and within the European Union applies only if the muffler is installed according to the manufacturer's specifications and operated unmodified.

The approval applies exclusively to the European market, especially Germany. Use outside the European Union may be subject to different national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince muffler is designed for especially easy installation and is made in proven SLIP-ON construction. The original muffler is first loosened. Depending on the version, the supplied connecting pipe is then inserted to optimize angles and alignment to the vehicle. Then the muffler is fitted precisely, attached to the standard mounting points, and securely fixed with the included springs.

After precise alignment in the desired position, clamps and screws are evenly tightened. A short functional check at standstill and retightening the connections after the first ride kilometers ensure a permanently secure fit. The precise construction noticeably facilitates the conversion.
